The Welsh Streets are a group of late 19th century Victorian terraced streets in Toxteth, Liverpool, England. Wincham Demolition were instructed to help with the regeneration of the site, making sure we kept as many of the original features and materials as possible to restore, not demolish, the true character of the estate.
In 2017, Placefirst, a Manchester-based housing developer, started the first phase of restoration of the Welsh Streets. By 2024, the award-winning renovation was complete. The houses have been adapted and transformed to provide a variety of family homes, with the facades and as much of the character of the buildings being carefully restored.
